Fujian Provincial Labor and Social Security Department Technical School and Fujian Provincial Labor Cadre Secondary Specialized School are integrated. It is a national key technical school directly under the Labor and Social Security Department of Fujian Province, which trains high and intermediate skilled personnel for the whole province. This is also the first national comprehensive vocational training base confirmed by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. In 2007, it was established as an electrical and electronic training base in Fujian higher vocational colleges.

Since its establishment 30 years ago, the school has always adhered to the correct direction of running a school, actively cultivated the spirit of "rigor, diligence, realism and innovation", and delivered nearly 20,000 high-quality skilled talents to the society. In April 2005, it passed the ISO9000 quality management standard of national key technical schools and the evaluation of national key technical schools.

The school is located in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, and is divided into Shoushan Campus and Pan Tong Campus. Shoushan Campus is located at the foot of the scenic Gaogaishan Park, and Pan Tong Campus is adjacent to Zuohai Park. The campus environment is quiet and pleasant, with a strong humanistic atmosphere. The campus covers an area of nearly 100 mu, with a construction area of more than 50,000 square meters. The school has more than 80 on-the-job teaching staff 150 full-time and part-time teachers/kloc-0, including more than 30 senior lecturers and more than 50 lecturers. The school mainly offers middle and senior majors such as business travel finance, numerical control electromechanical and computer application 18, with more than 3,000 students. After more than 20 years of continuous development, it has formed a good educational environment with relatively complete professional disciplines, complete teaching practice equipment, advanced functions, strong teachers and supporting living facilities.
