Wuxi Luoshe High School was founded in the spring of 1940. The original site of the school is next to Xiyan Lake, Wangxizhi, Shangtang, Luoshe, newly built in 1997. In 2002, junior high school and senior high school were formally established respectively. The school was approved as a key middle school in Xishan City in April 1998, promoted to a key middle school in Jiangsu Province in April 1999, recognized as the first batch of three-star ordinary high schools in the province in April 2004, and rated as a four-star ordinary high school in Jiangsu Province in February 2006.

The school covers an area of 100.9 mu, including comprehensive building, teaching building, experimental building, cultural activity center, library and information center, dining center, shopping center, student apartment, gymnasium, track and field playground, etc. The library has 93,480 paper books and electronic books 100G. There are computer network classrooms, automatic recording and broadcasting classrooms, physical and chemical laboratories, and student reading rooms. Every classroom is equipped with multimedia equipment.

The school has 36 classes, 1800 students. Full-time teachers 163, undergraduates 100%, including graduate students 16%, middle and senior teachers 72%, and 26% of the teachers have the title of urban backbone teachers.
