Nanyang Technician College, affiliated to Nanyang Labor and Social Security Bureau, is the only national key technical school in Nanyang that is fully funded by provincial and municipal finance. It is a professional skill training and appraisal institution designated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

Nanyang Industrial School was founded in 1960, formerly known as Nanyang Agricultural Mechanization School, and was renamed as 1994. It is an ordinary secondary vocational school mainly in engineering approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government, and now it is a national key secondary vocational school and a provincial demonstration secondary vocational school.

Nanyang No.1 Technical School, Yang Senior Technical School and Nanyang Technician College are old professional technical schools founded by 1958, located in Nanyang Senior Middle School.
