Beijing language and culture university is an institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It has been selected into the national postgraduate program of building a high-level university, the featured key discipline program, the demonstration base for studying in China of the Ministry of Education, and the scholarship receiving institution of the China Municipal Government for overseas students.
Beijing language and culture university is the only international university in China that focuses on teaching Chinese and China culture to foreign students in China, and is known as "Little United Nations". The school provides foreign language, Chinese, information science, economy, art and other professional education for foreign students in China, and undertakes the tasks of training Chinese teachers and foreign language training for preparatory students studying abroad. North Language has developed into a multi-disciplinary university with the characteristics and advantages of language teaching and research, and Chinese, foreign languages and related disciplines have developed together. Subjects cover literature, economics, law, engineering, history, education, management and art.
