According to the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Road Transportation and the Regulations on the Administration of Road Passenger Transportation and Passenger Stations, the pre-job training of passenger drivers requires 20 to 50 hours, and shall not be less than 20 hours.

Class hours include theoretical training and practical driving operation. Theoretical training includes national laws and regulations on road traffic safety and production safety, safe driving knowledge, warning education of typical traffic accident cases, professional ethics, safety notification knowledge, emergency handling knowledge, and company regulations on safe operation management.
