1. The founder of Yunnan Jiangwutang is Shen Bingjing. Yunnan Military Academy is a famous military academy in the modern history of China. It was originally a military school established in the Qing Dynasty to train new troops and strengthen border defense. Established on 1909. Together with Wujiangtang (Tianjin) of Beiyang Army founded by 1906 and Wujiangtang of Northeast China founded by 1908, it is also called the Three Major Clubs of Wujiang.

2. 1908 (thirty-four years of Guangxu reign), breast-feeding Yungui and Yunnan Fantai Governor Shen Bingjing gave instructions to the Qing court to prepare for the establishment of Yunnan Military Academy. The school site is located in Kunming, the training ground of Mu Guogong in Ming Dynasty, covering an area of more than 70,000 square meters.

3. 1935, Yunnan Military Academy was reorganized as "Kunming Branch of the Central Army Military Academy", with Long Yun as its president.
