What are the characteristics of knitting yarn?
Features of knitting yarn:

Knitwear is made of single yarn or several yarns by knitting machine, which requires high yarn breakage, defects, strength and dyeing effect. Knitting yarn is generally used in underwear and requires softness and comfort, so the yarn twist is small and the knitting yarn requires high uniformity, especially the yarn with uneven thickness.

Therefore, the strength, evenness, defects and the number of broken ends of yarns should be taken into account in cotton blending. Raw cotton with slender fibers, good uniformity, normal maturity, low short fiber rate and few defects should be selected, and raw cotton with good maturity, good elasticity and short length should be selected for knitted pile fabric.
