How to carry out the course catalogue in China?
Curriculum refers to the total number of subjects that school students should study and its process and arrangement. Curriculum is the planning and design of educational objectives, teaching contents and teaching activities, and the sum of the implementation processes of teaching plans, teaching outlines and many other aspects. The course catalogue is determined according to the professor's subjects. The curriculum catalogue of general schools is compiled by the Ministry of Education, and the curriculum catalogue of private training schools can be compiled by teachers in counseling institutions.

With the course catalogue, the teacher can prepare the teaching plan. Teaching plan includes school year (or semester) teaching progress plan, unit (or project) plan and class plan (teaching plan). 1. The semester teaching progress plan should be made before the start of the semester, and its contents include: Subjects, classes, teachers, teaching materials (including name, editor, publishing house, publishing time), students' profile, teaching objectives and requirements of this semester, and specific arrangements for teaching progress. The formulation of the plan can be described in written form or compiled in tabular form. 2. The main contents of the unit plan include: the name of the subject, the teaching purpose of the subject, the teaching emphasis, difficulties, emphases, classes, the type of each class and teaching methods.

The formulation of school and individual teaching plans should conform to the curriculum standards promulgated by the Ministry of Education and the requirements of school teaching plans at all levels for curriculum setting and class time allocation. Moreover, under the guidance of scientific education theory, every detail of the plan must conform to educational science, and any plan that violates educational science and educational laws will endanger the sacred educational cause and delay the cultivation of the next generation.
