1. After opening SOLIDWORKS software, enter the part modeling mode. Draw a rectangle with a length of 60 and a width of 30 in the sketch. Then use the stretch command to pull out the rectangular boss with a depth of 50.

2. Click the special-shaped hole wizard as shown above to open the hole specification dialog box.

3. In the specifications of holes, we can see that there are several types of holes, such as countersunk holes, threaded holes and tapered holes. For specifications, holes required by the following versions can be selected.

4. Because it is very important to draw threaded holes, we can see that threaded holes are conical and straight in type. Suppose you need an M8 threaded hole with a depth of 18.

5. Click the straight threaded hole in the hole type, select GB in the standard, type the threaded hole, select M8 in the hole specification, enter the thread line 18, and then press OK.

6. Click the upper position, select the upper surface of the rectangle as the placement surface of the threaded hole, place the threaded hole at the origin, and confirm to generate the threaded hole as shown in the figure.
