Fuzhou inland river

A few days ago, I went to play with my father. After crossing the Baima River, it has changed so much that I can't believe it. A few days ago, I read some reports in the newspaper about "Fuzhou renovating inland rivers".

Before the transformation of Baima River began, I remember closing the window every time I entered Baima River. Pedestrians on the road either speed up and leave as soon as possible, or wear masks. Even if they wear masks, a pungent smell still lingers on their sense of smell, so usually many people choose to take a detour. Sitting in the car and looking out, you can see almost all the domestic garbage in the whole river, the wastewater discharged from factories, and even the moss on the stones on the shore is not green but black mud. . . . . . . All along, inland rivers are both traffic arteries and sewage channels. Over time, Baima River has gradually evolved into a "sewage ditch" in the city, losing its former style.

Fortunately, since the renovation of Baima River and the sewage interception project of the main river began in May last year, Baima River is gradually recovering its former tranquility and beauty. After the first comprehensive regulation, the water quality of Baima River was obviously improved, and the river was crystal clear. The naked eye can see the crucian carp swimming in the river, and birds stop to feed from time to time by the river. The green trees on both sides of the river are reflected in it, and the river is full of vitality. The garbage on the river has also been significantly reduced; Although some floating objects such as plastic bags can sometimes be seen, several ships are being cleaned up by teams organized by sanitation workers along the way.

Baimahe Park has built a new trail, cleaned up the dense bamboo on both sides, and added many flower beds and green spaces.

Neat parks, verdant meadows and plum trees dotted with branches are pleasing to the eye. Walkways and wooden plank roads along the banks of the river have become a good place for many citizens to take a leisurely walk after meals. Everywhere in the park, old people get together in twos and threes, or play Tai Ji Chuan to exercise, or play the piano and sing leisurely, and many people take their grandchildren to enjoy family happiness.

I sincerely hope that other inland rivers can reproduce their glory like Baima River!
