Henan Vocational College of Judicial Police Officers is a full-time ordinary police college focusing on higher judicial police officers' education, integrating various vocational education and cultivating applied talents. The college, formerly known as Henan Reeducation-through-Labor Cadre School, was established in May 1984. /kloc-0 changed its name to Henan police school of reeducation through labor in February, 1986;/kloc-0 changed its name to Henan judicial police school in June, 1992;/kloc-0 changed its name to Henan police school in June, 1997.

In May 2000, it was recognized as a first-class key middle school by the Ministry of Education. In June 2000, the Ministry of Justice included the College in the key construction plan of the National Judicial Police Academy. In April, 20001year, it was upgraded to Henan Judicial Police Vocational College with the approval of Henan Provincial People's Government.
