1993 In September, Yongchuan Training Center for Adult Higher Education of Sichuan Normal University, the predecessor of Institute of Science and Technology, was established in Yongchuan, Chongqing.

1In September, 1995, Yongchuan Training Center for Adult Higher Education of Sichuan Normal University established Chongqing Electronic Information Engineering School and technical secondary school.

In March of 20001year, with the approval of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, the former Chongqing Electronic and Information Engineering School and Chongqing Social University merged to form the School of Information Engineering;

In June 2003, Chongqing Dahua Institute of Information Engineering was established with the approval of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission.

In February, 2005, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission approved the renaming of our school as Chongqing Institute of Information Engineering.

In April 2008, with the approval of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded and renamed Chongqing Kechuang Vocational College, becoming a full-time ordinary college with the qualification of independently issuing academic diplomas;
