Drawing lessons from the school-running philosophy and practice of Yang Si Middle School, the school has formed the school-running philosophy of "people-oriented, ability as the main line, combining rigidity with flexibility, and attaching equal importance to humanity and rationality", and formed a "three-wheel" education system of "all-round, all-round and whole process" based on the pursuit of quality education, with "package" as the means and "delicacy" and "intimacy" as the connotations, thus enabling students to run schools.

(1) English features. The school took the lead in introducing the "Cambridge Children's English Learning System" introduced and promoted by the Ministry of Education in our city. Since the launch of this high-quality English learning system, Huaying School has trained more than 65,438+0,000 outstanding English students and won 82 prizes at or above the municipal level by participating in the national English knowledge contest. Our school also hosted the "First National TV Oral English Contest for Primary and Secondary School Students" in Huizhou Division. In order to affirm the distinctive achievements of Huaying School, in 2003, Guangdong Provincial Department of Education identified our school as a cooperative research school in the Tenth Five-Year Plan of Education Science of Guangdong Provincial Department of Education-a study on the characteristics of running ordinary primary and secondary schools in Guangdong Province. Mr. Zhou Guoxian, former deputy director of the Education Department of Guangdong Province, visited Huaying School twice to guide the work, and wrote an inscription-"Create a road of all-round development and blossom a flower of quality education". In order to further promote the development of English characteristics, the school began to set up "Cambridge Children's English Experimental Class" in kindergartens and lower grades of primary schools in September 2003. Cambridge Children's English is taken as the English textbook of the experimental class, and other subjects are required to be taught in English, while English teachers use brand-new teaching AIDS and "total body activity response" (TPR) teaching method. This bold attempt and reform have also achieved initial results. Students study happily and easily, which well embodies the English teaching concept of "listening and speaking first, reading and writing second" and effectively improves students' English level.

(2) Characteristics of Wushu. Wushu education is also a major feature of Huaying. The school specially hired a national first-class martial arts coach to carry out extracurricular training for students with martial arts hobbies, and at the same time, it infiltrated martial arts into physical education, which not only increased students' hobbies in martial arts and sports, but also promoted the spirit of Chinese martial arts, opening up an interesting new way for students to have a strong body. Our martial arts team participated in the 2002 New Year's Day cultural performance in Chen Jiang Town and won the "Grand Prize" in one fell swoop. The Wushu team was also invited to participate in the closing performance of the 2004 Sports Festival of Huizhou University and the 10th anniversary celebration performance of Maikete Sanyang Company, which was well received by the audience and leaders.

In addition, artistic features, historical harvesting algorithm and writing style are also being explored. We founded Huaying School Newspaper and Qinyuan Literature Society, which have also become a paradise for small "writers" and trained a group of small "writers".
