The national professional standard for security guards is a comprehensive level requirement for practitioners' theoretical knowledge and skills according to the content of security professional activities. According to the new requirements of the state on reforming and strengthening the national professional qualification management, combined with the new situation and new characteristics of the security service industry in recent years, the new standard is revised on the basis of the National Professional Skills Standard for Security Guards (revised 20 14).
According to the Technical Specification for Compilation of National Vocational Skills Standards (version 20 18) issued by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the new standard divides the security profession into five skill levels: level 5/junior security guards (former junior security guards), level 4/intermediate security guards (former intermediate security guards), level 3/senior security guards (former senior security guards) and level 2/technician (former security guards).
