Shanghai Arts and Crafts School, established in April, 1960, is the only secondary specialized school in this city that specializes in cultivating arts and crafts design talents. Faculty 193 (98 full-time teachers, including 27 with senior titles and 52 with intermediate titles), with a total of more than 2,300 students.
The school has been rated as a civilized unit in Shanghai for many years, 1993 Shanghai Key School, a national key middle school approved by the Ministry of Education in 2000, and a Shanghai Arts and Crafts Vocational College jointly established with Shanghai Second Light Workers College on March 19, 2003.
