How to debug the sewing machine?
Sewing machine servo system is an AC servo motion control system. In the previous chapters, we introduced the working principle and circuit structure of the electronic servo controller of industrial sewing machine in detail. This chapter will introduce the debugging and maintenance of servo controller in detail.

Debugging method of upper needle stop position: adjust the needle bar of sewing machine to the upper needle stop position (at this time, the thread take-up lever should be at the highest position), loosen the fixing screw of the upper needle stop magnet (do not completely unscrew the screw), slide the magnet left and right in the hole of the handwheel (Figure 1), and fix the magnet until the green indicator light on the sensor just lights up, as shown in Figure 2.

Debugging method of the lower needle stop position: adjust the needle bar of the sewing machine to the lower needle stop position (the needle bar should be at the lowest position at this time), loosen the fixing screw of the needle stop magnet (do not loosen the screw completely), slide the magnet left and right in the hole of the handwheel (Figure 3), and fix the magnet until the red indicator light on the sensor just lights up, as shown in Figure 4.

If the above debugging method cannot make the indicator light bright, the installation position of the needle stop signal sensor needs to be adjusted. Remove the handwheel, loosen the fixing screw of the needle stop signal sensor, turn the sensor slightly counterclockwise (about 2 ~ 4 mm), and then tighten the screw. After installing the handwheel, debug it according to the above steps.
