Affiliated Middle School of Nanjing Deaf School: located at No.32 Yudao Street, Qinhuai District, Nanjing.

Nanjing School for the Deaf was formerly Nanjing School for the Blind, which was founded in 1927. It is the first national special education school in China. The current principal, Tang Jianbin. The school has hearing and speech rehabilitation Center for Deaf Children, primary schools, junior high schools, vocational high schools and ordinary high schools, which provide students with comprehensive rehabilitation, education and vocational and technical training.

Nanjing School for the Deaf and the Deaf is located on the Crescent Lake in the beautiful ancient capital of Nanjing. Founded in 1927, formerly known as Nanjing School for the Blind and Deaf, it is the first public special education school in China. It has been renamed Nanjing School for the Blind and Deaf and Special School for the Blind and Deaf successively by the Ministry of Education and Nanjing School for the Deaf. It is a full-time public special education school engaged in hearing-impaired education in Nanjing.

1992 was entrusted by the State Education Commission and the China Disabled Persons' Federation to establish the first ordinary senior high school for the deaf in China-Nanjing Senior High School for the Deaf. The 90-year history of running a school engraves the struggle footprints of teachers and students of Nanjing School for the Deaf, and embodies the hard work and wisdom of school leaders, teachers and students of all ages. The journey was hard but wonderful.

Everything is for students and always focuses on the future. Nanjing School for the Deaf and the Deaf has been fighting for it from generation to generation. "Blend the mind and integrate into the society", and pursue students' all-round development, excellent personality, positive compensation and good learning. "Admit the differences and narrow the gaps" is set as the curriculum goal suitable for the all-round development of hearing-impaired students. "Integration, innovation and development" and ordinary schools have entered the curriculum reform simultaneously.

Conditions for running a school:

The school ranks in the forefront of special education schools in China, and various functional classrooms are suitable for hearing-impaired education. There are preschool hearing and speech rehabilitation Department, compulsory department and senior middle school, which provide preschool language rehabilitation education, compulsory education, ordinary high school education and vocational secondary school education for hearing-impaired students respectively.

There are 33 classes with 430 students and 136 faculty members. Among the teaching staff, there are 35 masters (26 graduate students), 27 senior titles, provincial super teachers 1 person, 5 municipal academic leaders and moral education leaders, and municipal outstanding young teachers 1 1 person.
