China Financial Standards Committee decided to become a full member of most international CFP organizations, and implemented two-level financial planner certification system in China, namely, financial planner (AFP) and registered financial planner (CFP) certification system. Before becoming a full member of the international CFP organization, China Financial Management Standards Committee only certified AFP, and after becoming a full member of the international CFP organization, besides AFP, it also certified CFP.

AFP certification is the first stage of training as CFP certification (international registered financial planner), and it can obtain "financial planner training qualification certification"; After completing AFP training, students can participate in the second CFP training, that is, registered financial planners. AFP is the pre-school education of CFP. After passing the training and examination, you will get the certificate of financial planner. This certificate was given to you by FPSCC (China Financial Planners Standards Committee), and CFP was issued by North American Financial Management Association.
