Tianjin University Mental Health Education Center was established on August 29th, 20 1 1. The center integrates the original mental health education resources of the school, plans the mental health education work of the whole school as a whole, formulates the work plan and organizes its implementation. At present, the center has 6 full-time teachers and 27 part-time consultants, including 5 doctors and 5 associate professors. The center consists of three institutions: psychological counseling department, psychotherapy department and psychological research institute, which enriches and perfects the four-in-one mental health education model of the school in order to better provide professional and timely mental health services for teachers and students in the school.

First, the "four in one" mental health education system

1, universal education. The center offers psychology elective courses for undergraduates, provides training and work guidance for psychological committee members, and regularly holds psychological lectures, group psychological counseling and other activities with the student psychological association as the carrier to create a warm and supportive psychological health education atmosphere throughout the school and popularize and publicize psychological knowledge.

2. Psychological counseling. The center is responsible for the psychological screening of students in the whole school, and also provides students with free growth counseling, development counseling and mild disorder counseling. The forms of counseling include individual counseling and group counseling, including interpersonal communication, academic troubles, emotions, career planning, mild psychological disorders, etc.

3. Psychotherapy. The center provides psychological outpatient service in the school hospital, and carries out psychological evaluation, psychotherapy, drug therapy and physical therapy for students. Students who encounter serious psychological problems, such as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and adaptation disorder, or need psychological diagnosis and evaluation, can go to the outpatient clinic for treatment.

4. Psychological research. The Institute of Psychology under the Center is responsible for the development and teaching of the School Psychology Department (Master of Psychology). And support related teachers and students to carry out mental health research in their daily work, so that clinical and scientific research can promote each other and better serve mental health education in our school. The above four systems are a whole, providing support for students' mental health and happy growth.
