Zaozhuang Vocational College of Science and Technology is a public full-time general higher vocational college approved by Shandong Provincial People's Government in 2005 and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is an independent enrollment pilot institution in Shandong Province, a "3+2" undergraduate training pilot institution, and an undergraduate self-taught pilot institution.

There are 609 faculty members, including 23 professors, 47 associate professors/kloc-0, 22 doctors and masters/kloc-0, and 2 double-qualified teachers/kloc-0. There are 2 provincial famous teacher studios, 3 provincial famous teachers and 6 provincial teaching teams.

There are five experimental training bases in the school, including 120 experimental training room, two high-standard training buildings, 1 affiliated hospital and more than 3,000 new computers (undertaking the national computer examination). The "Automobile Comprehensive Public Skills Training Base" was identified as the selected project library of the national "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" project, and the central financial fund supported 20 million yuan. At the same time, there are 179 practice training bases inside and outside the school.
