Shandong Vocational College of Judicial Police Officers was founded in 1982, formerly known as Shandong Law School, and was upgraded to a vocational college in 2006. It is the only police vocational college in Shandong Province. In 2009, it was determined by the Central Political and Legal Committee, the Central Organization Department, the Ministry of Justice and other 15 ministries as a pilot institution for the reform of the recruitment and training system for political and legal police officers, and was approved by the Provincial Department of Education as a "3+2" counterpart training pilot institution in 20 16.

The college has two campuses, Yanshan and Mingshui, and a center in Qingdao, covering an area of more than 550 mu. Yanshan Campus is located at the foot of Yanzi Mountain in Jinan City, Mingshui Campus is located at the foot of Hushan Mountain in Zhangqiu University Park with beautiful mountains and rivers, and the judicial vocational education exchange center is located at Badaguan in Qingdao with beautiful environment.
