Shaoxing Art School, formerly known as Shaoxing Opera Art Training Class, was founded in 1980. Shaoxing Art School is located at the foot of Luting Mountain in Yin Shan, with elegant environment and convenient transportation. The school is located at No.500, Second Ring West Road, Shaoxing City. It is the only provincial key secondary art school in Shaoxing evaluated by the Provincial Department of Education. Shaoxing Art School has been developed and strengthened, and 1998 has been changed into Shaoxing Art School, which has become an important base for secondary art education in Zhejiang Province. The school is located at No.500, Second Ring West Road, Shaoxing City. In the past 20 years, many graduates have won many awards in provincial and even national competitions.

The school has a team of teachers with high professional ethics, strong professional ability, innovation and entrepreneurship. There are 88 faculty members, including 65 professional teachers, 70% of whom have senior titles or above. They are from China Conservatory of Music, Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Xi 'an Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou Xinghai Conservatory of Music, China Academy of Fine Arts and Zhejiang University.
