Introduction to the Japanese Department of Sichuan International Studies University: Sichuan International Studies University set up a Japanese teaching and research program on 1973, which belongs to the academic affairs office of the college. 1978 was established as the Japanese Department, which is one of the earliest Japanese majors in China universities. At present, there are two levels: Japanese major undergraduate and Japanese language and literature master. The department has a strong faculty, with 27 faculty members, including 2 professors and associate professors 1 1. More than 95% of professional teachers have studied or advanced in Japan.
