Voluntary resignation will have the following consequences: the labor contract relationship between the laborer and the employer is terminated. If a laborer leaves his job without the consent of the employing unit or without consultation with the employing unit, and the laborer terminates the labor contract in violation of the provisions of this Law, or violates the confidentiality obligation or non-competition restriction stipulated in the labor contract, thus causing losses to the employing unit, he shall be liable for compensation.
