It takes about 20 minutes by taxi from Changsha South to Huanghua Airport and about 16 minutes by maglev. Bus route-airport express is about 19.4 km, and the whole journey is 1 hour 10 minute. The bus routes are as follows:

1. Walk about 680 meters from Changsha South Station and arrive at Changsha South Station.

2. Take the Airport Express, pass 1 station and arrive at Huanghua International Airport Station.

3. Walk about 330 meters to Changsha Huanghua International Airport.

Railway traffic

According to the airport official website in 20021July, Changsha Maglev Express Line has a maglev airport station between Changsha Huanghua International Airport Terminal T 1 and Terminal T2.
