2. Overall comparison of China with German and Central Europe:
Sino-German: Located in the graduate school, you have to go through Telford to study LLM in Germany. Five schools can choose to go abroad for one year, mainly in German.
CEIBS: Located in Changping, you can have a double master's degree without passing a specific exam. I have obtained LLM from the University of Hamburg, and the situation of going abroad is unknown, mainly in English.
3. Details of China and Germany
Generally, Sino-German law schools enroll no more than 45 students each year, and German double-degree undergraduate students with 5+2 have direct promotion opportunities, and the maximum number of direct promotion students is no more than 15. In other words, the enrollment quota for the society (including the University of Political Science and Law) is 20 to 30.
There are often younger brothers and sisters who mistakenly think that they need to know German in exams. This is a misunderstanding. In fact, comparative law schools (including China and the United States and China and Germany) have no special requirements for language, as long as they apply for the exam in accordance with the unified regulations of the University of Political Science and Law. The situation in these two years is that as long as the initial test reaches the score line stipulated by the school and the second test is normal, it will not be erased. The fractional line of 20 13 is 345.
As for studying in Sino-German Law School, the conditions offered are very generous. The college has cooperation projects with the German DAAD Academic Exchange Center. If you are interested in Germany or German law, Germany is the best choice. I'm a 20 12 graduate student in China and Germany. I am a graduate student this year, and I feel very fulfilled. Learning German is beneficial and interesting every day.
First of all, German teaching is mainly divided into the following two parts:
1, German is taught in our school.
Using the new refined textbook, we will teach you German letters and pronunciations, from the beginning to the following grammar and syntax. The study intensity is relatively small, and more attention is paid to the mastery of grammar.
Two afternoons a week add up to about seven hours, one for each of the two Chinese teachers. (13 class hours may change)
2. Foreign teachers teach the whole language.
DAAD employs foreign teachers every year to cultivate students' listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities. A lot of oral practice, special interactive teaching, ask if you don't understand, and the teacher encourages everyone to speak out boldly, play games, watch movies, perform by themselves and do Pr? Sentence-make potato salad together, taste German chocolate together, sing Christmas songs together at Christmas, make handicrafts together and give gifts together. Everyone's opinions are valuable. Everyone can speak freely on various topics such as interest, sports, work, diet, religion, etc. Teachers will listen carefully and correct grammar mistakes. In addition, teachers often ask everyone to write short compositions and take quizzes. If they are excellent, they will get a small flower and make up ten. The lovely teacher will send a German book, usually the novel Rome.
More than 30 students were divided into two groups by lot, each teacher took a group and rotated once every two weeks. The progress of the course is roughly the same, ensuring that the teacher and each student are familiar with each other and have no strangeness. In about two weeks, everyone will develop a tacit understanding. The affection between classmates will be very good!
Class time is about 7 hours a day, two days a week, because class is very interesting and time passes quickly. Study 1 consists of two semesters, each semester 18 weeks.
Second, Telford training.
With the support of DAAD, foreign teachers from Goethe Institute were hired to teach the pre-test Telford training for one and a half months.
Third, German professional courses
In the second year, DAAD arranged for two professors from German universities to teach four specialized courses. In addition, the vice-chancellor of Germany personally teaches four courses of German law, two courses per semester, and the teacher arranges exams to investigate the learning effect. After a preliminary study of German for graduate students, these courses for graduate students can basically keep up. When applying for LLM degree in Germany, the results of these professional courses can be recognized by German universities.
Some people go to Germany to study law through Telford in China, but they still can't understand the teacher in class. In order to prevent this problem, we can achieve "zero transition" when studying in Germany in the third academic year and adapt to the German teaching environment smoothly by studying authentic German professional courses.
Fourth, LLM degree exchange students
1. China and Germany have unique conditions that other majors in the School of Political Science and Law don't have-going to a famous German school for one year. The College has signed agreements with five German universities (from north to south, Hamburg University, Cologne University, Frankfurt University, Freiburg University and Munich University). 20 places per year, reserved for three-year students; There are other ways for two-year students. As long as you pass the professional exam and pass the Telford exam, you will have the opportunity to choose a school to exchange for one year, and the school will award LLM degree after completing your studies.
Note: This is not a double degree. The two schools will evaluate and award degrees respectively. Because the school and these five universities are not cooperative schools, but only inter-school exchange programs.
2. The exchange abroad is in the third academic year (about 10 to the following year 10), and I arranged to apply to the college for defense.
3. Financial issues. These German universities don't charge tuition. Funded by DAAD Fund and University of Political Science and Law, 12 months is 670 euros per month, which is almost enough if it is not squandered. 20 DAAD places every year, of course, the premise is to pass the Telford exam. So the college has arranged a special teacher to guide the Telford exam for everyone!
Verb (abbreviation for verb) for a doctorate.
If you want to continue studying for a doctorate in Germany, you can apply to CSC, the national foundation for studying abroad, and you can get a subsidy of 1400 euros every month (quite generous, unlike some universities in Europe and America that charge high tuition fees, because German universities don't charge tuition fees, and the money is basically paid by themselves). In addition, because I have obtained the LLM degree from Germany during my graduate studies, it will be much easier to continue to apply for a doctorate. China welcomes and attaches great importance to German students studying in Germany.
In addition, the teachers who teach law in our college are also excellent.
Not only can you learn a German, but you can also study in Germany and learn authentic German law. This is an irreplaceable advantage of China and Germany. Students who want to apply don't hesitate, your graduate life in China and Germany will be more abundant!
