The daily work is entrusted to the Licensed Pharmacist Certification Center of the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Products, and the specific examination work is entrusted to the Personnel Examination Center of the Ministry of Personnel to organize and implement.

From 2065438 to March 2009, the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Products and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security formulated the Regulations on the Professional Qualification System for Licensed Pharmacists and the Implementation Measures for the Professional Qualification Examination for Licensed Pharmacists on the basis of the original qualification system for licensed pharmacists.
