Soft test is also called software level test, which is the full name of computer technology and software professional technical qualification (level) test.

It is a national examination led by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (former Ministry of Personnel) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (former Ministry of Information Industry). Its purpose is to scientifically and fairly test the professional qualifications, professional technical qualifications and professional technical level of computer and software professionals in China.
