What does the job security subsidy mean?
Legal analysis: Retention subsidy means that in order to ensure the stability of the overall social situation and the rights and interests of employees in enterprises, the national government has issued a retention subsidy policy, encouraging enterprises to actively take skills training, job transfer and resettlement, shift work, wage negotiation and other ways to stabilize the workforce, try not to lay off employees and reduce layoffs to stabilize jobs, and issue retention subsidies to enterprises with effective retention.

Legal basis: Notice of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China on Continuing to Implement Policies and Measures to Reduce Part of the Burden, Stabilize Jobs and Expand Employment, and continue to implement the policy of stable return of inclusive unemployment insurance. If the insured enterprise has not laid off employees or the layoff rate is not higher than the unemployment rate control target of the national urban survey last year, and the layoff rate of the insured enterprise with less than 30 employees (inclusive) is not higher than 20% of the total number of insured employees, it may apply for unemployment insurance to resume work. Large enterprises shall be refunded at no more than 30% of the unemployment insurance premium actually paid by enterprises and their employees in the previous year, and small and medium-sized enterprises shall be refunded at no more than 60%. Social organizations, foundations, social service institutions, law firms, accounting firms and individual economic organizations insured in the form of units shall be implemented by reference. In the areas where the above-mentioned stable return policy is implemented as a whole, the reserve period of the accumulated balance of the unemployment insurance fund in the previous year should be greater than 1 year. All localities can adopt the method of background data comparison to directly and accurately distribute stable job returns to qualified enterprises.
