He has worked as a guzheng performer in Xinye Art Troupe, Henan Quyi Troupe, Haizheng Troupe, Henan Henan Opera Troupe No.2 and Henan Song and Dance Theatre. In the course of more than 30 years, he has formed a unique aesthetic thought and artistic view, which integrates guzheng musicians, composers, educators and theorists. In the practice of playing, new techniques such as double-string transition glide, long chord, fast dial and 1/5 overtone were created and applied. Breaking through the traditional octave symmetry mode, a "quick fingering technology system" composed of dozens of new fingering sequences such as wheel fingering, plucking and plucking is established, which enables the Zheng to play the fast melody of pentatonic, heptatonic and variable scale with one hand without changing the tuning, and lays a solid foundation for the Zheng to enter the ranks of regular musical instruments from colored musical instruments. He was invited to give an academic lecture at the Central Conservatory of Music to teach fast fingering techniques, and held three fast fingering training courses successively. More than 100 students, graduate students and teachers from more than 20 music and art colleges in Hongkong, Taiwan Province and other provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions received training. With the support of Henan Musicians Association, he initiated and organized the establishment of Henan Guzheng Society and was elected as its president. Zhao, the founder of China Guzheng Art College, trained more than 1000 students in front of the courtyard in Henan. His disciples are all over the world, and many of them have won prizes in municipal, provincial, national and international competitions, and some of them have become superb performers and teaching backbones in music and art colleges at home and abroad.
