1986 Before entering the university, Li Gui worked as an underground worker in Dongpo Mine of Shizhuyuan in Chenzhou for five years. He graduated from high school during the Cultural Revolution. English knowledge is almost zero, and mathematics is at the level of the Cultural Revolution. He strives for survival during the day and development at night. He can stand loneliness, sit on the bench and teach himself day and night with amazing perseverance. Finally, he was successfully admitted to the Foreign Languages Department of Hunan Normal University in 1986.
Twenty years ago, this was regarded as a miracle when the admission rate of the college entrance examination was only a few percent.
1988 and 1989 served as the president of the Student Union of Normal University and the vice chairman of Hunan Youth Federation.
1990, Li Gui, who graduated from university, was assigned to the School of Finance and Economics as the dean's secretary and translator.
