The Western Higher Vocational Training College (hereinafter referred to as the Western College) is a comprehensive college established by the China Western Research and Development Promotion Association under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission to train high and intermediate vocational and technical applied talents. Zhao Yannian, former executive deputy director of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, honorary president of China Western Research and Development Promotion Association and doctoral supervisor, served as general counsel, former Party Secretary and Vice President of Tsinghua University Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences served as honorary dean, and Pang, master of laws and vice president of China Family Service Association, served as dean. College was established in 1999, and has two campuses, which are located in Fangshan District of Beijing and Zhuozhou City in the suburbs of Beijing. The college has a strong faculty, advanced school-running concept, focusing on vocational education, paying equal attention to academic education and skills training, based in the west and facing the whole country. In recent years, a large number of applied, operational and skilled vocational and technical and management talents have been trained and transported for the society.
