What are the differences in organizational structure caused by the merger of CBRC and CSRC?
For many freshmen, the golden age of autumn recruitment has arrived, and many students who have already worked may also want to choose a new job. As a student majoring in finance and economics, the former "Three Meetings", as the representative of China's financial supervision institutions, is naturally the best choice for many students, which not only has the stability of work within the system, but also has a platform for professional knowledge to play.

However, with the issuance of the "Plan for Deepening the Reform of Party and State Institutions" by the Central Committee, Article 37 clearly states that a banking insurance association will be established, and CBRC and CIRC will no longer be retained. This is not as simple as "it's been a long time". With the development of economic situation, single industry supervision and separate supervision can no longer adapt to the trend of China's financial development. Then the CBRC and the CIRC merged. What is the difference between the two in structural responsibilities? And listen to Hubei Zhonggong financial people come together for everyone.

China economic system

Organization of CBRC:

First of all, in terms of structure, the former CBRC has a total of 28 departments, among which the regulatory departments directly related to the institution include inclusive finance department, innovation department, policy banking department, big banking department, joint-stock banking department, city banking department, rural finance department, foreign-funded banking department, trust department and non-banking department. The former CIRC had 17 departments, and the regulatory departments included reinsurance supervision department, life insurance supervision department, insurance intermediary supervision department and insurance fund utilization supervision department. According to the plan for deepening the reform of the Party and state institutions issued by the Central Committee, the responsibilities of the former CBRC and the former CIRC for drafting important laws and regulations on banking and insurance and the basic system of prudential supervision were assigned to the People's Bank of China. This may mean that some middle and back-office departments of the former CBRC, including the Prudential Supervision Bureau, the Policy Research Bureau and the Regulation Department, will change from the internal departments of the former CIRC, such as the Development and Reform Department, the Policy Research Office and the Regulation Department.

More importantly, the original institutions of the CBRC system include CBRC organs, supervisory boards, financial trade unions, 36 banking regulatory bureaus, 306 banking regulatory branches, 1730 supervision office, and four training centers in Beidaihe, Shenyang, Shunde and Langfang. The former CIRC has 15 functional institutions and 2 institutions, 36 insurance regulatory bureaus in all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government and cities under separate state planning, and several insurance regulatory bureaus in Suzhou, Yantai, Shantou, Wenzhou and Tangshan.

Establishment of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission;

With the establishment of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, many institutions will be cancelled, merged and added, which is both an opportunity and a challenge for our students. However, the real structure still needs to wait for the specific documents and plans to be published, but it is foreseeable that it is imperative for all students who want to enter this department to study in advance.

Taking last year's CBRC examination as an example, the CBRC was listed in the sequence of "special professional posts". In the public examination stage, the examination subjects are different from other central state organs. In addition to the unified administrative professional ability test and application, the national civil service examination also has professional subject examinations. The examination time of professional subjects is generally arranged on the day before the administrative professional ability test and the application examination.

Therefore, in the review process, apart from studying the test and applying for the theory, we can't relax the study of specialized courses, and the difficulty of such specialized courses also needs everyone's attention and careful preparation!
