How long does it take to train an electrician? It takes 5- 10 days to obtain the electrician certificate, and it takes about 1-2 months from registration to issuance. If it is a real electrician's study and training, it will take at least 3 to 6 months. If you really want to be a qualified electrician, you need at least 2-3 years of study and practice.

The process of obtaining electrician certificate

1. If you want to take the electrician's certificate, you must first obtain the electrician's certificate and register for the "Special Electrician's Operation Certificate" at the local safety production supervision bureau, that is, the card (IC card) exam.

2. Participate in training courses organized by the Safety Production Supervision Bureau.

3. After obtaining the electrician certificate, go to the local labor and social security bureau to obtain the electrician professional qualification certificate.

4. Study in the training center before the exam. After passing the exam, you will get an electrician certificate (elementary) issued by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

5. After obtaining the special electrician operation certificate of the Safety Production Supervision Bureau and the electrician grade certificate of the Labor and Social Security Bureau, you need to register for the study exam at the local SERC and obtain the electrician network operation certificate issued by SERC.

Conditions for applying for electrician certificate

1, 18 years old or above, under 55 years old, with junior high school education or above.

2, good health, no epilepsy, mental illness, heart disease, sudden fainting, color blindness and other diseases and physical defects that hinder electrician operation.

3. Hold the post operation certificate of this type of work (this condition is only applicable to certain types of work).
