There are five ways to handle errors:
1. Credit adjustment: refers to that the acquiring institution voluntarily returns the confirmed long-term money to the issuing bank.
2. Payment request: refers to the short payment made by the acquiring institution for the original transaction or the payment request made to the issuing bank due to incorrect credit adjustment.
3. One-time bill return: refers to the card issuer's refusal to pay the bill acquirer's payment request transaction or its refusal to pay the bill acquirer when it is in doubt about the original transaction.
4. Re-payment: refers to the re-payment request made by the acquiring bank to the issuing bank when it has any objection to the one-time refund of bills.
5. Second dishonor: refers to the issuer's refusal to pay the bill acquirer again because of its objection to the bill acquirer's re-payment transaction. For ATM transactions and debit card transactions, the issuing bank has no right to withdraw cash twice.
