It takes two years of municipal service to take the "three-tube examination for mechanics", and there is a 45-day training period after signing up for the examination. After the training period, you can take the exam. If you fail in the exam, you can make up the exam five times in three years.

There is no unified teaching material for the examination subjects of main engine and auxiliary engine electrical maintenance, ship management, engineering foundation, marine engine and English class A and B, but only a unified examination outline.
