It is the functional department in charge of adult education in Shijiazhuang Institute of Economics and the secondary teaching unit of the school. The development of adult education in our school has a long history. As early as the early 1950s, schools began to attach importance to adult education. 1953 in the second year after the school was founded, various short-term training courses were held. 1960 started correspondence education (at that time, because the school was still a secondary school, correspondence education could only be held in secondary schools). Xuanhua Geology School from 1953 to 197 1 year, Hebei Geology College from 197 1 year to 1996, Shijiazhuang Economics College from 1996 to the present. During the period of Xuanhua Geological School and Hebei Geological College, there was no specialized adult education institution in the school, and the work was mainly undertaken by the Training Section and Correspondence Section of the Academic Affairs Office. With the continuous development of adult education in China, the school formally established the Adult Education College in April 1994, which is responsible for the adult education of the whole school.
