Wenjiang is located in the west of Chengdu 16 km, and is away from Shuangliu International Airport 18 km. The region covers an area of 277 square kilometers, governs 6 towns and 4 sub-district offices, and has a total population of 326,700. Wenjiang is the birthplace of the ancient Shu yufu kingdom more than 4000 years ago. Since the establishment of the palace in the Western Wei Dynasty (AD 555), it has been the political, economic and cultural center of western Sichuan. After liberation, it was the seat of Wenjiang prefectural committee and administrative office for a long time, and 1983 was placed under the jurisdiction of Chengdu. In April 2002, the county was removed and divided into districts, which became an important part of the central city of Chengdu.

Tianfu Wenjiang, outstanding people. Li Bai, Du Fu, Lu You, Zhu and other literati once competed to come here to sing, leaving behind eternal songs such as "eternal love, eternal love". Wenjiang belongs to the Minjiang River alluvial plain, without hills, and belongs to the subtropical humid climate zone. Four distinct seasons, mild climate, criss-crossing rivers, abundant rainfall and rich products. Known as the land of abundance, it is well-known at home and abroad as "Jinwanjiang". In this beautiful and rich land, there are many places of interest, such as the site of King Yufu's tomb, the Confucian Temple, the Chenjia Temple and the Dabie Mountain. There are many beautiful historical shopkeepers and folklore, such as King Guan Bai, Wang Yufu's tomb, Gucheng Ridge, Jinwuchi and so on.

Especially since the reform and opening up, Wenjiang society has undergone earth-shaking changes, economic construction has advanced by leaps and bounds, and urban and rural areas have changed with each passing day. One fruitful achievement after another shows the world the elegance of "Golden Wenjiang": the first satellite city in Chengdu; The first well-off county in Sichuan Province; The largest national economic development zone in southwest China-the location of the science and technology industry development park on both sides of the Chengdu Strait; National ecological demonstration zone; Ranked among the top 100 counties (districts) with comprehensive national economic strength; In April 2002, the county was withdrawn and the district was built; In September 2005, the 6th National Flower Expo was successfully held ... Today, 320,000 Wenjiang people, under the leadership of the district committee and government, vigorously implement the "2 13" development strategy, comprehensively and deeply promote the integration of urban and rural areas, and work hard to build a harmonious Wenjiang.
