Zhenjiang college is a full-time general college organized by Zhenjiang Municipal People's Government. The school's predecessor was Zhenjiang Normal College founded by 1959 and Zhenjiang Vocational College and Zhenjiang Radio and TV University founded by 1979. 1992 three schools merged into zhenjiang college.

Zhenjiang College was formed by the merger of Zhenjiang Education College, Zhenjiang Vocational College and Zhenjiang Branch of Jiangsu Radio and TV University on 1992.
