Guo Zhixin was born in Dongcheng District of Beijing in 197 1. He is currently a member of China Calligraphers Association, a member of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, and the eighth designer of China Signature Design Research Center. Founder of Mo Yun Hall Art Studio. When he was a teenager, he showed his talent for calligraphy. He held a personal calligraphy exhibition at the age of 20, and Beijing Youth Daily also made a special report for him. His calligraphy inherits the tradition and has a personal style. Truth, action, cursive script, official script and seal script are all involved, especially cursive script. The style of this book is free and easy.

Mr Guo has been engaged in calligraphy education for more than ten years. His disciples include directors of multinational corporations, editors-in-chief of magazines, calligraphy lovers, children and students all over the country. Tuhua Online School specially hired hard-pen calligraphy teachers for civil servants and established 48-hour hard-pen calligraphy teaching. "Children's Painting and Calligraphy" and "Children's Art" also made a special edition introduction for their calligraphy education: "Carve carefully, and try to create dullness".
