Introduction to actuary examination
Actuarial examination is divided into two stages: quasi-actuary and actuary.
1. Quasi-actuarial subjects include mathematics, financial mathematics, economics, actuarial models, actuarial management, life insurance actuaries, non-life insurance actuaries and accounting and finance. Candidates can obtain quasi-actuary qualification by passing all eight courses.
2. Actuarial examination subjects include insurance law and related regulations, financial management of insurance companies, health insurance, investment, actuarial practice of personal life insurance and annuity, asset-liability management, employee benefit plan, actuarial practice of non-life insurance, pricing of non-life insurance and evaluation of non-life insurance liability reserve.
Candidates who have obtained the qualification of quasi-actuary can obtain the qualification of actuary by passing the examinations of five actuarial courses and meeting the requirements of relevant actuarial professional training.
Brief introduction of CPA examination
Certified public accountants are divided into two stages: professional stage and comprehensive stage examination, in which the subjects of professional stage examination include accounting, auditing, financial cost management, corporate strategy and risk management, economic law and tax law. Comprehensive stage examination subjects include "comprehensive test of professional ability (paper 1 and paper 2)"
