Brief introduction of conservatory of music

The Conservatory of Music of Changchun Normal University was founded in 1977, formerly known as the Music Department of Changchun Normal University, and was renamed as the Conservatory of Music of Changchun Normal University in 2003. Our branch school began to recruit students nationwide from 1986, and moved from 1996 to undergraduate music education major, and has trained nearly 2 100 undergraduate and junior college graduates for the country.

There are two two disciplines bachelor's degrees in musicology and dance, and graduate teaching points in music courses and teaching theory.

The Conservatory of Music has eight teaching and research sections: music basic theory, music technology theory, piano basic, piano major, vocal music basic, vocal music major, instrumental music and dance. There are also teaching auxiliary institutions such as audio-visual reference room, electric piano classroom, music production room, computer audio-visual production room and musical instrument maintenance room.

There are 46 full-time teachers in the college, including 3 professors, 4 associate professors/kloc-0, 5 lecturers and 24 teaching assistants. There are 10 teachers with master's degrees (6 others are studying for master's degrees), accounting for 26% of the total number of teachers. There are 24 young teachers under 35 years old, accounting for 52% of the total number of teachers.

The college has a total construction area of nearly 7,000 ㎡-there are music building, instrumental teaching building, dance foundation room, comprehensive art practice place-auditorium and other teaching rooms.

The total number of equipment is 566, and the total fixed assets are about 5 million yuan.

At present, there are 504 students from more than ten provinces in Changchun Normal University, including 453 undergraduates in musicology and 565,438+0 in dance. A military band with 100 people, an orchestra with 80 people, a folk band with more than 40 people, an active dance team and a relatively perfect and beautiful teaching environment. Under the leadership of the school, the teachers and students of the Conservatory of Music of Changchun Normal University will strive to make the Conservatory of Music the cradle of national basic music education service and cultivate high-quality music teachers and comprehensive music talents.
