The conditions for sailors to take the third mate exam are as follows:

7. All kinds of fire-fighting and life-saving equipment and equipment of the ship should be carefully registered, maintained, replaced and recorded.

8. Explain the life-saving and fire-fighting knowledge and the operation and use methods of various equipment and devices to the crew as required.

9. Before sailing, the ship's emergency deployment table and crew's emergency card should be compiled, which will be published and implemented after being reviewed by the first mate and approved by the captain; Introduce the emergency post and specific responsibilities to the new crew in time.
