Seizing the opportunity of revitalizing the old industrial base in Northeast China and breaking through the development strategy in Northwest Liaoning, the College has continuously adjusted, improved and added modern service majors, and initially formed a professional structure of finance, management and modern service industry, including accounting computerization, taxation (enterprise tax accounting), finance and insurance, securities and futures, financial management, marketing and planning, chain operation, business brokerage and management, tourism management, financial management and practice, computer graphics and image production, etc. Among them, the major of accounting computerization and taxation (enterprise tax accounting) is a provincial demonstration major, and the two courses of financial accounting and tax law are provincial excellent courses.
In the development and construction of the college, the college team firmly establishes the main position of teachers in running schools and implements the strategy of "strengthening the college with talents" in all directions. After years of construction, a team of teachers with "optimized structure, excellent quality, strong innovation ability and meeting the needs of college development" has been formed. Professor Luo Haitao, Dean of the Institute, devoted himself to the research in the fields of regional economy, human resources development and management, and formed a clear research context in the fields of regional economy and industrial policy, human resources development and management, and achieved fruitful research results. He has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects such as Liaoning Natural Science Foundation, published more than 10 papers in national core journals and provincial journals, put forward new and valuable academic viewpoints, put forward the concept of crisis organization in human resource development and management, designed a set of psychological training mode for special operators in coal mines, and applied non-institutional training to the usual safety training of special operators, filling the gap of non-knowledge training for miners at present. Professor Yang Junliang, Vice President, first explored the teaching methods and laws of higher vocational education in China from a philosophical point of view, which provided theoretical and methodological guidance for enriching and developing the discipline system of higher vocational education in theory and for the behavior of higher vocational education in practice. In China, the basic principles of Marxist philosophy are applied to the study of accounting and finance for the first time, and the propositions of accounting philosophy, accounting behavior philosophy and financial philosophy are put forward for the first time, and related new disciplines are created. Professor Zheng, head of the accounting department, has been engaged in teaching and research in the field of accounting since he joined the work, teaching more than 20 professional courses. As the person in charge of the course, financial accounting was rated as the first excellent course in higher vocational colleges by Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, and it was also the only excellent course in higher vocational colleges in Liaoning University of Engineering Science that year. Professor Zheng is currently a consultant of the Internal Control Standards Committee of the Ministry of Finance, a member of the leading group for the implementation of accounting standards in Liaoning Province, a director of the Financial Cost Branch of the Chinese Accounting Society, a director of the Fuxin Economic Society, an executive director of the Fuxin Abacus Association and a director of the Fuxin Accounting Society. In the third national accounting knowledge competition, Professor Zheng participated in the national accounting knowledge competition held in Beijing as the representative team of Liaoning Institute of Accountants and the coach of Liaoning team respectively, and achieved excellent results.
