The Classification and Evaluation of Hospitals issued by the National Health and Family Planning Commission stipulates the evaluation criteria of graded hospitals, including seven core indicators such as hospital management, medical quality, service satisfaction, diagnosis and treatment technology, medical safety, medical facilities and equipment, and talent construction. If a hospital wants to pass the evaluation, it needs to apply to the local health and family planning commission first, and carry out various evaluations and certifications according to the procedures stipulated by the state. The evaluation team inspects the hospital site, evaluates the comprehensive strength and ability of the hospital, and issues the grade certification results.
Compared with hospitals that have not received grade evaluation, grade hospitals have the following advantages. First, patients' interests will be considered in hospital site selection, scale, management and service, and the hospital will become a more people-friendly, humanized and efficient medical institution; Second, hospitals, as grade hospitals, are more likely to gain the attention and support of the government and the media, and enhance the recognition of health departments and public opinion; Finally, through grade evaluation, hospital managers can better understand the advantages and disadvantages of hospital management and service, and make positive efforts for the development and promotion of hospitals.
