Basic information of Communication University of China Press
Communication University of China Press, formerly known as Beijing Broadcasting Institute Press, was founded in 1985. It is one of the earliest university press established after the reform and opening up. Its superior authority is China Communication University (Beijing Broadcasting Institute), and its business is guided by the Social Science Department of the Ministry of Education and the General Administration of Press and Publication. It was renamed in September 2004.

Since the beginning of 2002, with the development as the theme, the two benefits of book production as the center, the purpose of better serving the discipline construction and teaching and scientific research in colleges and universities, and the breakthrough of system innovation and mechanism transformation, the agency has comprehensively implemented the target management responsibility system and the full-time competition system, and reformed the personnel system and wage distribution system. At the same time, the publishing house has established and improved a series of rules and regulations, such as Provisions on Strengthening the Quality Inspection of Pre-press Editors' Proofreading, Regulations on the Management of Publishing Process, Measures for the Management of Sample Book Process, and Operating Rules of Sales Department. Strict political control, book publishing discipline and three-trial system, and strengthening the awareness of topic selection and marketing have provided a good institutional guarantee for the development of publishing houses.

In addition, the office conditions of the publishing house have been obviously improved, and a university publishing house with a modern office environment and an advanced business exchange platform is presented to people. The aim of Communication University of China Press is to serve the discipline construction, teaching and research and the development of national education by relying on the discipline advantages of Communication University of China. Around this purpose, a characteristic publishing concept of "devoting to specialized education publishing and creating excellent media books" has been formed.

In recent years, in order to cooperate with the discipline construction of our university, our society has mainly launched a series of international relations, drama and opera, literature and aesthetics, Chinese language and literature, culture and communication research, TV drama art, media management theory and practice, and published nearly 200 monographs and translations of these disciplines.

At the same time, our society has stepped up efforts to plan and develop excellent teaching materials and excellent academic works. Practical broadcasting courses, excellent teaching materials for Chinese and American film and television majors, series of teaching materials for art design (advertising, animation, film and television), series of teaching materials for non-common languages, basic teaching materials for 2 1 century journalism and communication, series of teaching materials for 2 1 century media music, etc. Series Textbooks for Animation Specialty in Colleges and Universities, Series Textbooks for Distance and Continuing Education, and 2 1 Century Higher Vocational Education Planning Textbook have been adopted by many colleges and universities, which have produced increasingly widespread influence. In 2006, 20 key textbooks were selected by the Ministry of Education as "the 11th Five-Year National Planning Textbooks for Colleges and Universities".

The agency also actively carried out foreign exchanges and cooperation, and successively introduced and published dozens of books such as Classic Translation Series of Foreign Media Economic Management, Word-of-mouth Media Translation Series, Practical Handbook of European and American TV Production, and Famous French Contemporary Drama Series. Communication University of China Press has 36 employees, 90% of whom are under the age of 50, and most of them have master's and doctoral degrees. This is a young, professional, highly educated and energetic team. The editorial department of language and literature mainly edits and publishes books on Chinese and foreign linguistics, Chinese and foreign literature and art, film and television literature and advertising. There are five editors in the editorial department, each with his own professional expertise, including old editors who have worked for many years and are knowledgeable, and young and middle-aged editors with high editorial quality; Some of them have a high standard in the translation of English academic works, and have published many translated works, which have been widely praised in the industry; Some of them have a lot of research on Chinese and editing, and have accumulated rich practical experience in editing for many years, so they are tutors of master students majoring in editing; Some have been engaged in the editing of university art books, edited and published many literary books, trained young and middle-aged authors and won national book awards. The editorial department pays attention to editors' own knowledge and accomplishment, advocates science and humanistic spirit, pursues Excellence and pays attention to efficiency. Media Management Editorial Department Media Management Editorial Department is a young team. At present, we mainly plan to publish academic series related to media, and at the same time, we have developed this edition and imported editions of works in foreign languages, art textbooks and cultural communication. The published series include: representative series of French contemporary classic dramas (in cooperation with the French Embassy), QUE-SAIS·JE (what do I know), French media academic frontier, 2 1 century art design basic teaching materials, 2 1 century media music professional series teaching materials, media market investigation and research series, film and television academic frontier, folk customs, culture and communication series, and China opera grade. Up to now, more than 100 books have been published.

The purpose of this room is: to serve the authors and readers and devote ourselves to high-grade media publishing. Scholars and practitioners are welcome to contribute actively.

The editorial department of film and television art and the editorial department of film and television culture are committed to publishing academic works and professional teaching materials for radio, television and movies. Since the new century, the published series include Practical Film and Television Art Series, Practical Broadcasting Tutorial Series, Practical Broadcasting Science Series, Beijing Broadcasting Institute Art Design Series, Media Management Vision Broadening Series, New Century TV Series-CCTV Notes, TV Art Series, Sino-American Film and Television Synchronization Textbook, Literature and Aesthetics Series, and National Radio and Television News Editor. There are nearly 20 series and more than 200 kinds of books, such as Practical Handbook of European and American Television Technology, Culture and Communication Series, Core Textbook of Film and Television Art, Theory Series of Film and Television Art Creation and Application, Pop Music Textbook, TV Drama Art Theory Series, Film Theory Series, and TV Literature and Art Series. It has made great contributions to the professional publishing of Communication University of China Press. The editorial department will further devote itself to the publication of scientific research results of modern media such as radio, television and movies, and serve experts and scholars in the fields of news, media and film and television arts. The editorial department consists of three senior editors. Every editor has a professional title of associate high school or above and a master's degree or above. Editorial room members include Cai (director), Yang Jinzhou, Zhao Xin and Dong. The four editors have different professional academic backgrounds, each with his own strong points, and all have master's degrees or above.

Director Cai graduated from the History Department of Renmin University of China with a gentle and cheerful personality and nearly 20 years of editing and publishing experience. He has worked as a distributor and has a unique eye for market demand. He is good at planning major topics and has a wide range of author resources. The author team covers Beijing, Zhejiang, Hunan, Guangdong and Sichuan. Topics that have been planned to be published include: analytical media series, academic frontiers of media, realistic essays, 2 1 century basic textbooks for journalism and communication, books on international relations, and so on.

Yang Jinzhou, a medical major, is famous for her persistence, keenness, cleverness and ability in publishing, and her ability of soliciting contributions is quite outstanding. Planning and publishing international news and business series, classic translations of foreign media economic management, and series of basic teaching materials for animation majors in colleges and universities.

Zhao Xin, a speed skater, graduated from broadcasting and hosting College of Communication University of China with a cheerful and lively personality. Since joining the publishing industry for two years, he has planned to publish nearly 30 books, including Analytical Media Series and Film and Television Academic Frontier (Part) Series. After studying broadcasting for seven years, as a professional editor, she still hopes to have more books on broadcasting and hosting. The Twelve Lectures on Broadcasting and Hosting Teaching Method has been published, and a series of teaching materials for professional hosting, a series of tutorials on oral expression and a series of training manuals on broadcasting and hosting skills have been planned, which are expected to be published within two years.

I graduated from China Communication University with a bachelor's degree and graduated from School of Journalism, China Renmin University with a master's degree. Editorial Department of Higher Education The editorial department of Higher Education strictly implements the concept of "creating excellent teaching materials" and strives to broaden the publishing field outside the core publishing position of our society. Focus on the research and development of practical teaching materials for undergraduate and higher vocational colleges. The editorial department of vocational education mainly publishes textbooks for secondary vocational education and higher vocational colleges, and has published more than 20 series textbooks for secondary vocational education in 2 1 century and more than 30 planning textbooks for higher vocational colleges in 2 1 century.
