Zheng Da Guangming Hall, located at the main entrance of Yuanmingyuan, is the first of the 40 scenic spots in Yuanmingyuan. Zheng Da Guangming Scenic Area, including Zheng Da Guangmingtang and Dagongmen District, was built in the third year of Yongzheng (1725).

Zheng Da Guangming Hall, its name means its closure, openness and integrity. This part of the building completely copied the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Forbidden City. Pinghu Qiuyue is one of the 40 scenic spots in Yuanmingyuan, located on the north bank of Fuhai, and enjoys the same reputation as Pinghu Qiuyue and light music, one of the ten scenic spots in Yuanmingyuan West Lake. It is adjacent to the Grand Duke in the west, Siyi Bookstore in the north, and Shuangfeng Tea Rhyme and Cangmi Building in the east.
