Trainers can be aware of the development needs of participants, encourage them to identify with their feelings and values, and strive to achieve their highest goals, but they can't force participants to do things they can't or don't want to do in life and work. Successful trainers can stimulate participants' intrinsic motivation and their own development potential, so that they can overcome any obstacles and restrictions that hinder their growth, and at the same time encourage and motivate those who are hesitant and fail to take risks and build a safety network.
To be approachable, friendly and trustworthy, corporate trainers must be ready to help others, impart knowledge, fully express their ideas, and establish good management skills with training institutions, students and participating departments.
Unlike trainers with fixed course schedules, training schedules are flexible. Trainers and participants work together to determine priorities and goals, and develop action plans to achieve behavioral changes. However, this timetable is not fixed. Excellent corporate trainers can adjust the timetable and conduct "extracurricular" training to meet the different needs of individuals.
A trainer should have extensive interpersonal and communication skills, empathize with the trainees, and recognize and understand their world outlook, values, outlook on life and dreams. Most importantly, trainers must also be willing to communicate frankly and clearly identify unpopular behaviors, rather than being too afraid of participants' resistance or worrying about embarrassing them or not liking them.
How do we achieve a goal or change a behavior? How will participants treat new ideas? Training means action. Self-awareness, self-analysis and insight all occur in action. As a trainer, don't stay in the state of just starting training, or fall into fear of emotions and goals. A good trainer can help participants find out the reasons that lead to their obstruction and inefficiency while maintaining their vitality.
Change is sometimes painful. No matter what the final result is, participants often resist change, fearing that they will lose something in the process. Training is related to development, growth and change. The concentration and perseverance shown by trainers, as well as the control of focusing on goals and action plans, will eventually bring about the expected lasting behavior changes.
Training is not a panacea that works for everyone. Some people may not be suitable for learning and changing. At this time, the trainer may not be the most effective way for them. No coach can do everything. Therefore, a good trainer should be aware of his own abilities and limitations, strive to be single-minded, and master two or three courses, which is by no means omnipotent.
Trainers should collect the information of students' needs and make a good demand assessment before training. A good trainer should have some special qualities that enable them to make more creative use of evaluation information, diagnose students' problems or propose exciting solutions. These qualities are the ability to apply theory to the actual environment, to creatively provide new ideas and new perspectives, and to solve problems uniquely and novel.
Trainers not only sell intangible products, but also sell themselves. In the increasingly competitive market environment, when choosing trainers, people should not only consider whether the trainers can clearly explain the necessity and special benefits of their training programs, but also consider the quality of services they can provide. In order to successfully improve themselves and succeed in business, trainers should have the following qualities: dedication and strong desire for success, strong confidence in themselves and the products they provide, ability to be self-pioneers, ability to make things happen, infectious enthusiasm for training, confidence to do well, energy to complete tasks, resilience and determination in the face of rejection, willingness to take on new risks and challenges and enter unknown areas, and innovative spirit of constantly challenging themselves and encouraging them to develop newer and more successful sales strategies.
As a trainer in the new era, especially in the "people-oriented" today, you should have the above qualities. In order to improve the possibility of success in this business field, you should test your own quality and find out your strengths and weaknesses.
