The environmental protection work of chemical plants is divided into four stages: 1. Do a good job of environmental protection evaluation in the early stage of chemical plant construction, and ensure that the site selection of chemical plant or its technological production process has no great impact on the surrounding environment and does not threaten the surrounding ecological environment. 2. In the process of chemical plant construction, corresponding environmental protection measures should be taken according to the characteristics of different production devices in the chemical plant, such as underground seepage control measures in the tank farm of toxic and harmful devices and safety instrument system of high-risk chemical production devices to prevent environmental disasters caused by explosion accidents of chemical production devices. 3. During the operation and management of the chemical plant, the daily inspection and maintenance of chemical production devices and storage and transportation facilities should be done well to ensure the safe and stable operation of the chemical plant and reduce the accident probability, thus reducing the impact of abnormal conditions on the environment. At the same time, do a good job in the harmless treatment of waste gas, waste water and waste residue to minimize the impact of chemical plants on the environment. 4. During the production scrapping of chemical plants, do a good job in scrapping and dismantling chemical production equipment and tank farms, so as to achieve harmless treatment and eliminate potential safety hazards.

For chemical enterprises, dealing with environmental protection issues is an effective way to maximize economic benefits. Chemical enterprises can only get better results if they deal with the problems such as waste gas produced in the production process better, establish a better development environment in a benign development atmosphere and adopt various technical means to deal with them. Therefore, only from the perspective of environmental protection can we better promote the rapid development of chemical enterprises. Based on the present situation of environmental protection management in chemical enterprises, this paper focuses on the application of special management mode of environmental protection management in chemical enterprises, and constructs technical applications adapted to economic development and environmental protection of chemical enterprises in many aspects to promote the overall function.
