Logical thinking in picture books
Notes on day4 Training of Mingman Parent-child Reading Picture Book Reading Tutor

When I was a child, I especially envied those who studied well. I think people play when they should, and they can learn well. That's because they only think they are smart. Now that I think about it, their thinking logic is very strong. Nowadays, the society pays more attention to the cultivation of children's thinking ability, and all kinds of training courses have the development of thinking ability. However, thinking ability can not be possessed as long as you attend training courses. It needs to be accumulated day by day and cannot be separated from the demonstration and guidance of parents day by day.

For example, in the picture book What a Big Red Apple, if there is an apple at home, we can take it out and demonstrate it while reading the picture book, such as how bears pick apples, how squirrels take apples, how crows take apples, how mice move apples, how apples roll, and how ants lift apples. Let children understand picture books by watching their movements, and parents should also let their children participate in demonstrations, such as moving with their children and lifting them together.

In short, the cultivation of children's logical thinking ability is not achieved overnight, and it needs to be accumulated over time.
